Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

It was ordered in my divorce decree that my ex assist me in selling my vehicle that I was awarded. He refused to do that...divorce was final in 06. Filed bankruptcy in 08...the vehicle was filed in the bankruptch...now he is suing me, saying this is damaging his credit. Will this simply come down to his word against mine...or does he have a case...???

He will not be successful if he refused to allow you to sell the car in 2006 (though that could have been fixed by the divorce court then) and then blames you for damages relating to failure to sell the car now. For any more specific advice, you need to let an attorney read the decree itself, not just a summary of it.
