Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I was ordered to pay a $1,500.00 Medical Bill to me Ex-Wife thru a wage Garnishment, I paid the amount owed and Child support kept taking out money from my wages after the amout ($1,500.00)owed was paid. I went back to court and had the Garnishmnet stopped but before I could get it stopped the Child Support office took out a total of $4,500.00 Too Much and will not give it back to me or send it to my Ex-Wife, I brought this up in Court and was told, Once we get the money it is no longer Yours and the Judge Told me to have a Nice Day, I am not ruling on that is what he said. How do I get My money Back or get it sent to my Ex-Wife? I am Currently in Comtemp for owing an arreage of $1,700.00 thay I thought was covered since overpaid that other bill and the Child Support office had this extra Money I had Paid in My-Exwifes account. We did not owe the State welfare any money as My Ex-Wife is a Teacher and we had full insurance on our Children, So I do not know where this money went. I ask for an accounting of these funds and The Prosecuting Attorney said their is no record for me to see where my money went. I have a History of Payments from the Clerk's office and It shows the extra funds coming in. Any suggestions wuld be appericated.

Thank You For Your Time,

Sincerely,

Keith Coyle.

I am in Richmond, In.

You can do a number of things but unfortunately, you will probabaly not know how to do so without a lawyer. I suggest that you look at your local court rules on discovery and Trial Rules 26 - 37. You can locate both at www.in.gov
