Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
i have paid an attorney 2000.00 i have only seen him 1x and that was i met with him and paid the fee. everytime i call him i never get a return call and have now recieved a 1400.00 bill that was not itemized. is there anything i can do to get my money back?

You may report him to the Indiana State Disciplinary Commission.

I would ask him for an itemized bill and then compare the bill with the work performed. If they dont match up, ask for a refund of whatever is appropriate and ask for an explanation. If the attorney does not respond, then you should report him.
