Can a parent sue a child after the age of 18 if they don't go to college when they know it has already been paid for?

There is more to this question than what is posted here, obviously. I can hypothesize facts that would create a contract between child and parent, but I have never seen it in real life. If you are the parent, you need to pay an attorney to sit down and talk with you about it. If you are the child, go to college.
