Parental Rights

My boyfriends son is 5 years old and is mother will not let him see his father. He has a couple felonies for DUI's and thinks his rights have been provoked. He has been out of jail and working for the past year and he pays his child support, what rights does he have and what can he do about his babies mama not letting him see him. Now she has stopped visitation with his sons grandma also

absent a court order, the mother has no right to deny parenting time to him. However, there may be restrictions on drinking or driving since his license may be suspended presently. He can ask the court to have her held in contempt.

Also, absent a court order, the grandma has no rights. However, she may be able to obtain rights.
