parental rights

I want to know how to give up my parental rights.I've taken my ex-wife to court several times over a period of time and everytime I win my case but she does'nt coroperate and I get stuck with a lawyer bill and no visitation.I WAS TOLD THAT I CAN WRITE THE PETION AND SEND IT TO THE COURT BUT I'm not sure how to go about it.

Sounds like your lawyer hasn't fought diligently enough to make sure your rights are taken care of.

The penalties for contempt are jail time/fines/and/or community service. When those are imposed, it's amazing how cooperative individuals can become about visitation.

The court is unlikely to terminate your parental rights because your ex is thwarting visitation. It would only be willing to do that if there were someone waiting in the wings (such as her current husband) who wanted to adopt the child.

You didn't mention the existence of that situation, so your attempt to terminate would most likely fall on deaf ears.

If you have to go to court to enforce visitation, SHE is usually ordered to pay your attorney fees and can have her wages garnished to do so.
