Parental Rights

My husband signed away his parental rights to allow his exes husband to adopt his daughter. He was in the military when this occured and we have no clue if the adoption ever took place. He is still currently paying support and we have no clue where this child is or if the adoption ever took place. How do we go about finding out if the adoption was ever finalized?

Your husband will need to hire an attorney to investigate the situation.

To whom is he paying support? Does he have a copy of the paperwork that he signed?
