Can a paternity suit be filed before a child is born?

No. Medically, paternity can be determined before birth, but judges don't like to order that done because there is a risk to the mother and unborn child.

So, you have to wait till the baby's born, and paternity can be established by a blood test, judicial determination or paperwork.
