Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
I pay 601.00 of each calendar year for my sons uninsured medical bills in which I have met and exceeded that amount for 2015. after that my ex-husband and I each pay a percentage. My question is, I have a bill with the service date being in 2015, I received the bill on 1-6-2016 and have paid it as of 1-22-16. since the bill is for services in 2015 and was paid in 2016 does that bill fall under 2015 or 2016 uninsured medical bills.

Interesting question. Since an insurance company would apply the deductible for services incurred in 2015 toward your 2015 deductible and the out-of-pocket amount is to some extent related to the deductible, I believe that you would be looking at this as part of your 2015 total.
