Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Do I have to pay this monthly?

My Decree of Dissolution states that I have to pay ''$xxx.xx per month'' for child support. A few paragraphs farther down it states...

''The Wife shall maintain the minor children as beneficiaries on her medical and dental insurance plan. The Husband will pay One Hundred and no/100 ($100.00) Dollars toward the wife's insurance premium''

No mention of when or how often I have to pay that $100.

She has come to me 10 years after our divorce expecting me to NOW start paying the additional $100 per month. I do not believe it is an amount that I need to pay monthly or it would have stated that or it would have been included in the monthly child support amount.

Can you help?

Re: Do I have to pay this monthly?

You need to show the decree to an attorney and have a face to face consultation as there are many possible issues and Law Guru is not a proper forum for an ongoing dialogue. good luck
