Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I know these people who have an abuse and neglect charge against them and had there 3 children taken from them. At 28 weeks of pregnancy she gave birth to the 4th child immediately the state took the child and placed him in there custody. He is now 2 months old. He was released today from the hospital and placed with a foster family. Last month i went to court about all of this because i am wanting to adopt him and the parents want me to. The judge ordered that i visit with the child at the hospital and i could visit him anytime which i did many times and called to check on him many times as well. I have filed in the court a petition for adoption and have a lawyer. It is after hours and of course i cant contact him. I just called the hospital and they told me he was being released tonight to the foster family. What i want to know about so i can hopefully sleep tonight is will this affect adoptiong him? If so how? What if the foster family would happen to want him? Its the weekend and i really just need some kind of advice and thought on this. Any answer or help would be so appreciated. I live in Indiana and the child is in Kentucky. I just dont know what to do or think. Thanks so much!
