If a person is awarded but not has received money from a lawsuit and files for divorce, will the money be split since it was awarded during the marriage. The injury to this person was done during the marriage and so was the settlement agreement

The answer would depend on the nature of the damages, if partly for future wages, that part is not included. The same argument can be made for lost income,-for example, from destroyed rental property. If the seetlment was for an injury case,the part for future wage loss can be excluded. However, you need to make sure that the settlement documents fomr the injury case was clear on what part was allocated to future wages.
