Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
Can one person in a party force the other through court to reverse an emancipation if the child is a 19 year old who returned to home to go to school? I am paying $300.00 with a verbal & signed agreement for his education & expences & my ex-wife is trying to reverse the emancipation so that she can try to get more money from me by garnishing my disability check, which is barely enough to live on as it is.
She wants to go to court, not me, so If she can, she says she can also force me through court to pay for the emancipation reversal, her court fees & her attorney fees. Can she make me pay for all of that? I don't have any money for my own lawyer & she knows the fees will be $3000.00 +.

An emancipation can be reversed. I suspect that based on the income that you have mentioned, that it is not likely that you will be paying her attorneys fees. There shoudn't be any addtional court fees as there is no filing fee for post decree matters.
Also, based on the infomation that you have provided, you should contact the local Pro Bono Office in your area. You might qualify for free leagal services. Good luck.
