Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I (petitioner) had a scheduled court hearing for child support modification. The dad was thousands behind in his child support payments. I sat in the courtroom for over an hour waiting for my case to be called because, silly me, I didn't know going in that all the others there had the same hearing time- you had to sit and listen to the cases called ahead of yours until your name was called. At the end, my name still hadn't been called. I was shocked to learn that the case had ALREADY been heard! The dad showed up earlier than the appointed time and with his attorney's help, had ran my case before a commissioner of another courtroom in the same building. Needless to say, things didn't go my way. If I had had my own attorney, I'm sure things wouldn't have happened as they did but as a single mom that was getting spotty child support, I couldn't afford it, so I just paid the $25 to have the county prosecuting attorney's office handle it. My question is... can I do anything to make this right? It seems sneaky and unfair to me that his attorney was able to guide him in a way that took away so much of what he had been previously court ordered to pay.

You should contact the prosecuting attorney's office since they are handling the case presently.
