Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I am planning on moving out of the country with my children to seek employment. I have submitted the proper paperwork to the courts. I have primary physical custody though joint with the kids' father. Can he reallykeep them from moving with me even if they want to go.

Yes. It is subject to the court's decision to allow the move. If you are just moving to seek a job,as opposed to having a job in the other country already and moving there to start the job, it is doubtful the court would approve the move, in my opinion.

Yes, he can insist on asserting their rights to have the benefit of a continuing relationship with both parents. Realistically, what kind of ongoing relationship can the children have with him from another country? The court will make a decision based on the best interest of the children, only.
