Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

post nuptial

I'm 36 yrs old and have been married for 17 years. My husband decided to change careers a couple of years ago and has decided to take a job in another state working a week on and week off. He would be commuting back and forth. I would like to set up a post nup just to protect myself. I have sacrificed alot for him to be able to change his career and am unsure how my marriage will survive this change. I am not for this idea but will support it and try to make it work. Is this a legal thing for me to do?

Yes. Postnuptual agreements are accepted in Indiana. You should contact an attorney to work out details and to make sure that the agreement is enforceable.
