Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Prenup

I have a s corp business. I am changing it to a LLC. Basically i want to protect my future wife from any possible business debt liability and any personal debt. My business is in Ohio and i live in Indiana. Will a prenup cover that? Is it possible to keep our finances seperate in the governments eyes? We wanted to get married in the eyes of God, but it seems we must get married in the governments eyes also...

Re: Prenup

The prenup protects assets not debts. She is not repsonsible for past debts and liabilities. The LLC should cover the future if properly drafted and all protocal followed.
