private adoption in Indiana

I know a woman who wants to allow my husband and I to adopt her child. How do we go about getting it done?

you my adopt as per you custom and you must keep the photographs or Video as evidence that you have adopted the said person.

You must have consent of the parents who are going to give adoption and also concept of the child if he is capable to consent.

Sub registrar office is registring the Adoption deed, but registration of Adoption deed in not compulsory and it is opetional.

Evidence is necessary to prove the adoption legally.

This is a complicated process and it is very important that it be done properly so that years from now, no one can try to reverse the adoption decree.
