Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
pro supplemental garnishment
I went to court on March 11th and the judge is allowing my attorney to attach a pro supplemental garnishment to my ex's bank account for child support arearages. My question is my attorney told me he was preparing it to send to his bank on friday, March 13th. I am wondering that since the judge already allowed my attorney to do this, what are the steps once it reaches the bank. My ex was a no-show at court, by the way, and also lied about how much money he had.

Re: pro supplemental garnishment
The bank will put a freeze on the account upon receipt of the order. Your attorney will then get a turnover order, requiring the bank to pay you the funds in the account up to the amount owed.
