Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I am in the process of filing for divorce. My husband and I have one child (a 6 month old boy) together and it's the first one for the both of us. My husband has a rather lengthy criminal history and has been to jail and prison several times. A few possession of meth charges, a dealing charge, and a possession of a handgun by a felon charge. He also is severly bipolar and is known to self medicate with the use of meth, rather than taking his prescribed medications. I myself have no mental issues and have no permanent charges on my record. I have one deferred prosecution (which will disappear off my record in August, 2010) for criminal conversion. My husband was laid off in August 2008 and has since then been unemployed while pursuing social security disability. I myself have had a few jobs in that time with the longest stretch of unemployment being a few months prior and while I was pregnant. At my 6th month I did obtain employment and worked up until I began having prenatal problems. I went back to work when our son was 5 1/2 weeks old and have been employed since then. Do you think there is any possibility that the judge in our case would even consider giving him full custody of our son?
