Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

protecting my child

I have joint custody with my ex. I have physical custody and he has visitation. My problem since we went to court he has been arrested for meth twice and he puts up whatever $ it takes for him not to have to do time. The last time he decided to become an informant and his last arrest doesn't even show up but I am constitaly hearing that he is going to get what is coming to him. I'm scared to let my child with him but he threatens me with going by the guidelines of our handbook. Seems like everything is in his favor. What should I do?

Re: protecting my child

File a motion to restrict his visitation. Hire an attorney to do this, as your belief that there is a significant risk to your child requires it, even if you have to spend some money to do it.

Good luck.
