quit claim deed

My wife was divorced and ordered to sign a quit claim deed on a home that she and her ex-husband owned. He is not being ordered to refinance the mortgages. Can she legally be forced to sign the quit claim deed without him being forced to refinance the mortgages out of her name?

If she wa ordered to do so, it is legal. Her lawyer should have insisted on an order that required a sale or refinancing.
