I received a collections letter for child support docket fees 8 years after my child turned 18. Is there a statue of limitations on time to collect these fees? The fee are over $500.

Yes, 15 years after the payment is due. For example, a support payment due on the child's 8th birthday must be collected before the child's 23rd birthday.
