Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
Recently, the court has ordered my fiance to pay a large amount of child support to his ex-wife. The child is 1 year old. Would child care expenses be in the amount of child support?
If so, my fiance is part of the national guard and is activated at this time. There is a program that is available to his children for free child care. Would this make the payments go down? And if the mother chose not to use the services rendered could they still go down due to they are available?

yes work related childcare is included in the formula for child support. There is a user freindly calculator at the Indiana Judiciary website. You should plug in the figures and see what kind of difference it makes.
