Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I recently moved to Texas from Indiana. I have a 1 1/2 year old daughter that I am paying child support for. The mother hasn't actually allowed me to be in my daughter's life since she was 6 months old and has made this entire process a nightmare. We were never married, but my child has my name. I know that my ex is supposed to let me have some sort of contact with my daughter every couple days or send me pictures, updates, or something. She has not done this since we split up again, when my child was 6 months. I know nothing of my daughter and probably won't for most of her life unless my ex allows it and she won't. She doesn't want me in my child's life. She just wants the paycheck. Can I or do I even have a chane to give up my rights to my daughter without the mother's permission? Would I have to fly to Indiana to have this done? Would a court even listen to me since I'm the father and the noncustodial parent?

You cannot give up your rights and obligations for your daughter. You can petition the court for parenting time or if there is already a parenting time order that is not being followed, obtain a contempt against her.

To really be in your daughter's life, you need to live closer to her. Not a legal answer, merely an observation.
