Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
i had recieved a call in 2007 from a girl i had a one night stand w/ in 2005 saying that her 2 year old child might be mine and she was filing for a paternity test. i told her i would take the test and go from there!!! i didnt here from her at all after that and didnt recieve anything in the mail or get served papers!! about 7 months later my dad went through his mail and found something sent to his house for me and it basically said that i child support was going to be put on my credit report!! i never signed anything or was given a court date or served papers!!! now 2 years later they have tried to take my license, and i dont have a job i take care of my daughter that i live w/!!! how can they court order me to pay child support w/ out notifiying me of a court date!!! i dont think the child is mine, the dates dont add up help

Don't waste time. Go find a lawyer in the community where the child suppport was entered and get some advice immediately. There are too many issues raised by your posting to deal with in this forum.
I agree with Jay. You need counsel as the matters posted are too complex for this forum. If you are unemployed, you might qualify for free legal services. Contact Indiana Legal Services or the Pro Bono Office that handles matters in the community where the court order was entered.
