Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Reibursement of attorney fees

I had taken my ex-husband to court for not paying child support. I accrued attorney fees that he was ordered to pay by the courts. He has not paid and I was told that I need to petition the court, how do I do this and what form do I use. Thanks.

Re: Reibursement of attorney fees

If you paid your attorney, then you must file a motion for proceedings supplemental and an order to appear in order to get your former spouse into court to collect back what you paid. If you have not yet paid your attorney, then your attorney needs to file the proceedings supplemental paperwork to collect the fees.
