Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Relocating...have children from previous relationships.

My husband took a job 150 miles away from where we live now. We want to move within the next 2 weeks. I can not locate one of the biological fathers of my 2 girls. He has not had cotact with me or them since my daughter called him shortly after his release from jail on July 30th, 2007. Would it be okay to move, what is the worst that would happen to me? How can I move since the law says I have to have a court hearing on this issue? I had written a request for a court hearing and they sent me a letter telling me that I had to have a hearing. Which is what my letter was asking for in the first place. They can not locate him either. We have already put a deposit on this house and my husband is making the drive right now once a week 6 hours round trip or 300 miles round trip.

The clerks are incorrect. Under the new statute, a hearing is not always necessary. Call me. Although, I am not in your county, I can prepare the proper papers and the chances are that no hearing will be needed.
