Re: Self Representation
I beleive that you have posted this before. Nevertheless, without knowing facts as to why the father had custody, go to the Indiana Judiciary website and you will find forms for seeking modification of custody. You will also find a link to the local rules for the county where custody was granted. you should read over the local rules as well as the Indiana Code regarding custody ( which is also at tht web site) in Chapter 31 which has family law. Complete the forms and all axillary forms, file them in the appropriate court that gave the father custody with appropriate notice and copies being provide to all interested persons. Since the father is in jail, you may be able to have this heard as an emergency.
Good luck.
Re: Self Representation
You need to file for a modification of custody. You may be able to obtain the forms on line or go to your local law library and they can assist you with finding the forms. They will not be able to give you legal advise.
