Re: Resources for Child Custody Issues needed

You sound bitter. Unfortunately, all the reading materials in the world will not help your situation. I would recommend that mediation with a health care professional trained in mediation or an attorney trained in mediation would be the best solution for the problems. If he won't agree to mediation, you would have to file a petition for modification of either custody, visitation or support in order to have your local judge order the two of you to mediation. Remember when dealing with peanut brains, it occasionally works better to make friends with that new hussy and get one of them working toward the best interests of the child or children. No sense in being jealous of his subsequent relationship. She may need your sympathy in having to deal with Mr. Peanut Brain. Right? You need to focus on what is important - raising the children and making them relatively secure in life or looking at what is unfair that your marriage no longer exists and you no longer have the same relationship with the father of your children you had when your marriage started out.
