Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

What are our rights

My husband and I have been seperated for more than a year now and we have a son together. We were in the process of filing for divorce when he found out that I was living with someone. My husband is now withholding the paperwork that I need to receive my retirement holdings from my last job as well as wanting to put it in the record that I may not live with anyone unless I am married to them. Does he have the right to do either of these?

Re: What are our rights

If this is a Maryland case, you need to contact a lawyer there. If this is an Indiana case, you need to get an attorney here. In Indiana, if you agree to this then he can do it.

Re: What are our rights

I can not tell you what the law is in Maryland. However, if you are in Indiana, file the divorce and the court will determine the rights.
