Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Self-Represented in Court

I filed a Contempt of Court charge against my ex-husband because he has failed to adhere to several items in our Divorce Decree. (Abide by IN State Parenting Time Guidelines, pay child support via income withholding order, submit his 2005 gross income in order to pay 10% over said amount as additional child support, and execute title to a vehicle). I have a court date scheduled for October 25th and will be representing myself. My question is, how should I prepare? I have kept track of payments, visitation, etc., how long should I go back? What is or isn't relevant information I should have for the judge? Thank you!

Re: Self-Represented in Court

Obtain a certified copy of the child support record from the Clerk of the Court. Prepare a calendar and log to show how he failed to abide by the Parenting Guidelines and show proof of your letters to him asking his income.
