Sell Home Before Divorce is Final?

Should the sale of the home be finalized BEFORE the final decree is given to the divorce, or can the final decree be given before the sale of the home?

Either is acceptable. Talk with your attorney to see what is best in your case.

Without knowing what the goal is in selling the house, I have no way of judging whether it is a good idea or not. I suggest retaining counsel before you do anything further.
