Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

seperation

my girlfriend and I have been together for 9 years. She has been cheating. We have 2 children and the house we live in is rented by me from my grandpa. I want her to leave, she will not, what approach do I take? What about our children, what rights do I have to keep them or can she simply take them?

Re: seperation

Unless paternity has been determined in court, you have no rights to the children. You should petition the court for paternityu and either custody or parenting time (visitation).

If she is not on the lease, in theory, she is a subtenant of yours on a month to month tenancy and you should give her thirty days written notice to vacate. You should contact an attorney

ASAP.
