Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I share custody of my children with my ex husband. My son is 12 years old and would like to become Catholic (like me). His dad disapproves. Can he stop us from getting my son baptized? Do we need his permission?

If you share joint legal custody, you have to agree on his religious upbringing. Baptism without his consent would be wrong.

If you want to proceed, without legal repercussions, custody will need to be modified.
