Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
i signed over guardianship of my daughter to her paternal grandparents in mar of '06. i lived with them until oct of '08. at which time i left my ex husband. i could not take my daughter. they would not let me. In Jan of '09 i got into some trouble for using drugs. CPS placed my son with my dad for 15 months. The state granted me custody of my son back in april 2010. i have been clean since jan '09 and have completely changed my life around. i am going back to college in the fall. i am remarried and though my husband has a criminal background from when he was younger, he to has changed. He has a great paying job that more than allows him to support our family, while i am a stay at home mom. My daughter's father who has battled drug addiction lives with my daughter and her grandparents. He is going through criminal charges now for drugs. I have been clean for 2 years and would love nothing more than to regain custody of my daughter. I realized just how much i have missed and i dont want to miss out on anymore of her growing up. I want to know how hard it would be to get custody of my daughter back and if it is even possible. her grandparents are loaded with money and can afford the best of the best lawyer whereas i am not loaded enough to afford a lawyer but we can support ourselves. Please tell me if it is ever going to be possible to get my daughter back and what i have to do to achieve this goal.

You can file a petition to terminate the guardianship. However, based on the facts presented, you really need to obtain counsel.
