Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I am a single mother raising my son by myself he is 4 and a half yrs old. his dad has no interest in him on occasion he calls about once every 6 months and money none! i am going to file for child support but i dont want him to have visitation due to hi past and present drug and alcohol use and i can prove it. is there a chance he would get visitaion?
