Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Hi Sir,

My name is Anish Verma from Utter Pradesh and I am currently working in Mumbai in an IT company. Last two and half year ago I had arrange marriage. After one month due to some reason she went to her home and never come. I had tried to come back her many time but parent did not allow her and she also did not want to come. Now I have heard that she have married without divorce. I want to know that how it is possible. How can do she again marriage without divorce from me. Have any law for same. I think she has get divorce paper because she is a graduate and her father was in navy, but I did not signature on any paper as my knowledge. I am very upset. Please help me what I do. If she have married without divorce, so can I do case against them. What is process of this and what is punishment.

Have you conformed that she had married another person? please confirm it. if it is confirmed you have good grounds for Bigamy which is punishable under law. whoever, having a husband or wife living, marries in any case in which such marriage is void by reason of its taking place during the life of husband or wife, shall be punished under section 494 of Indian penal code. do not waste the time contact any advocate immediately and proceed further you will succeed.
