Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
son and soon to be ex-wife have been gong thru divorce for 10 mos, have gone to mediation, wife has ignored many issues that she has agreed to and signed, she refuses now to mediate anymore, they cannot get a court date in IN for 10 MONTHS and son is running out of money, She does not want to get out of big beautiful house, he's in 4 room apartment..is this normal waiting to get in to court that long, and if so, is there anything he can do to expediate the situation..i find this outragious, she is the one that filed for divorce because she found boyfriend..son wants out ASAP...

You should aks your son's lawyer as that attorney has knowledge of all of the facts of the case as well as familiarity with the courthouse where the case is pending. Anyone else would be guessing.
