Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
my son and his girlfriend have a 7 month old son. She abandoned baby 3 weeks ago, leaving my son solely responsible for the babys' care. They have now mutually decided, that she is willing to sign all of her rights to the baby over to my son. They haved drafted a document, that will be signed before a notary, which includes all aspects of custody, guardianship, and parental rights, as well as visitation.
They wish to file this through the court, and not have to include an attorney if they do not have to, as specifically my son, does not have the means to do this. We live in Indiana. Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
