Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My son who resides in Indiana wants to set paternity rights and possibly obtain custody of his son born 07/07/2010. Mother was residing with my son, while pregnant she moved to Michigan and told my son that she was not sure baby was his, Mother would not talk to My son, When Mother was close to delivery she called my son and told him her cell was about to be shut off, so my son paid her phone bill. When mother went into labor she called my son, He drove to michigan Hospital and was present when my Grandson was born...........son paid 300.00 for a paternity test and was found 99.9996 that he is the Father. He would like to establish his paternity and have his name added to birth record, and for his son to have his last name. Mother is being wishy washy telling him there is no hurry....... What steps does my son need to take ( mother party's all the time )

If mother lives in Michigan, your son should contact an attorney in the county where she resides. If she lives in Indiana, he should contact a family law lawyer in Indiana.
