Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
I have my son for winter break right now. The mother lives in Florida and got in a fight with her mom and has no where to live. She wants to go to Argentina. I don't want my son out of the country and was told she can't take him out of Florida without my permission. If there is abuse at my son's grandma's home where he resides and mom is homeless, can I keep my son here and file for emergency custody or do I have to send him back to that unstable environment and chance him getting hurt or leaving the country with mom to never be seen again?

Your question is a bit vague. However, based on the information provided and assuming that there are facts that support what you say you certianly can file in the court that has jurisdiction.
