Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My son is 4years old and his fathers parents are trying to get guardianship of him, is this possible? I was never married to his father. Paternity is through an affidavit, not through the court system. I have a job, a home, and I am a good mother. They are trying to do this out of spite. Is their any reason a judge would grant them guardianship over our four year old son? If so under what circumstances could this happen?

"Is their any reason a judge would grant them guardianship over our four year old son?" If you have been raising your son adequately, and not abusing or neglecting him, then no.

"Is their any reason a judge would grant them guardianship over our four year old son?" If the facts you state in your posting turn out to be untrue.
