Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
My sons father has never met him, and has never paid child support. My son will be one soon. His father didnt sign the birth certificate and rufuses to take a paternity test. He threatened me when i was pregnant that if i wouldnt get an abortion he would take me to court and get full custody. He is much older, and financially stable. I am younger, living with my mom, and taking care of my son with the help of welfare, medicaid, and wic. I am a great mom and theres no way he could prove other wise. I wanted to know if i can get child support, but not allow him to see my son unless supervised. I do not trust him.

Yes, you can get child support. No, in the long run his parenting time would be unsupervised, unless he harms the child. Go sit down with a lawyer in your community to discuss the specifics of this. Your son's future is too important to wait.
You can get child support. However, unless the father is a threat to the child, it is unlikely that there would be a long term situation with supervised visitation. Initially, it would probably be supervised.
