Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Me and my sons father split and we got back together n split again. we had an order signed 2 yrs ago for Indiana parenting time guidelines. He is now taking me to court for joint legal custody, my son is 4 and i think that my environment is more stable (he gets called out all hours of the night for work, he has plywood for flooring in his kitchen, he has mold on his basement walls, and has put our sons safety and health in danger). Please can you give me advice on how to make sure he does not get any more than parenting time guidelines.

Yes. Hire an attorney to represent you. Joint legal custody does not mean a 50/50 split of time; it can still mean just the guideline time. You need a lawyer to sort this out for you if you really believe your children's health is in danger.
