Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My sons mother and I have set up paternity and are pretty open w/ visitation and switching weekends and what not. She recently called me and said that her husband has found a job in Raleigh,NC. I have a guide book on the visitation, but my question is, what will happen w/ the costs of getting him back and forth to Indianapolis? She is talking about doing a 50/50 deal w/ flights. Does 50% of that fall onto me or is the majority of it going to be her since it is not a "mandatory" move??

Thanks.

Each case is fact specific. You could end up with a 50/50, or paying less since it is her move.

She is required to follow the Indiana Relocation Statute before she moves. You can find it at

Indiana Code 31. Go to the Indiana Judiciary Website.
