Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

stealing my babies again

My wife and i live together and have not filed for divorce or seperation. she tells me today that she is not happy and is moving to Memphis TN taking the kids with her. she knows that i recently made some lump sum payments to pay off our debt and that I couldn't possibly afford a attorney until after she is gone. Legal aid won't accept me because of my income. Everyone at the court houses and city hall keeps giving me the run around saying that they can't give legal advise. My question is where can i file by myself for legal seperation and ask for custody of the kids? She trying to leave in three days. Right before I could get my hands on some money.

That's a horrible situation to be in.

Do you live in Marion County? If so, I could help you get the paperwork started and get it filed before she leaves.

I CAN work with clients who are faithful about making payments. Most people are good about it, I have found, but I have to be strict because of the ones who aren't. If you can come up with the $100 filing fee, I can file the paperwork for you, including a request for a restraining order.

Then if you can make weekly (or bi-weekly) payments faithfully toward a $750 retainer, I'll be happy to take your case and work with you. That buys you five hours worth of legal work.

If I have to nag you for money, I will withdraw, however.

If you can live with those terms, then call me at (317) 486-4578 or e-mail me at [email protected].
