Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
My step daughters mother isn't paying her first 6% of her daughters uncovered med. expenses. Can we file her in contempt of the custody agreement? She has a pending criminal charge for driving with a suspended license and civil judgements for not paying her court fees and fines. What can we do?

If Mom has custody, until your husband has to pay something, this is not a problem. If your husband has custody, mother does not have to pay 6%, but some other amount based upon the 6% formula. If he believes that her lack of a drivers license is harmful to his daughter, he should sit down with an attorney in your community and discuss his options.
