Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My stepson is 20 yrs. old, he works , a 40 plus hr. job each week, he has his own car can feed & dress himself. He can take care of himself. We filed with the court to have child support stopped since Indiana Law is changing to 19. My stepson is immature but what 19 yr old isn't. His mother took him to a doctor to have the doctor say his unable to live on his own. According to my stepson the doctor wrote in his report what her attorney told him to write. Can you tell me if there is a possiblity the judge will rule in her favor? The child graduated HS a year ago but grades were not good he barely made it. She never tought him the value of grades or how to do things on his own. He's now learning very quick he pays for everything himself she won't even do his laundry he does it all himself. What should we expect from the judge?

You should have waited to file your request until after July 1. You need to talk to an attorney in your community; this is too broad a question to answer in this forum.
