Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I was sued for custody and child support. My ex-wife lied about her state, even her country of residency. she lives in Mexico, but said she lives in Indiana. Can she get in trouble for lying multiple times in the petition to the court. It is too much for her to say it was a mistake and I have proof that she lives(and has for 2 years) in Mexico. She is also suing for lawyer fees, could she get them even though she lied?

Yes she can get into trouble. If you can prove to a court that she was not a resident of Indiana at the time of filing and the court agrees with you, the court has no jurisdiction over anything, including fees.
